Wicklow County Council’s Disability & Inclusion Steering Committee (DISC) has launched a new Accessibility Toolkit for community groups and clubs to support them to make their services and activities more accessible and inclusive.
The toolkit has lots of great information in areas such as:
- Inclusive Communication: including face-to-face communication, documents & publications and social media
- Building Design & Accessibility: how to make your building more accessible
- Group Management & Design of Activities: inclusive recruitment, meetings & activities and events & outings
along with some inspiring case studies from local groups across County Wicklow.
