The Dyslexia Association of Ireland (DAI) is pleased to announce a new event on “Assistive Technology for Dyslexia” as part of the Dublin Learning City Festival 2021. This free event is aimed at college students and adult learners who would like to understand how technology can support their learning.

Presenters: Brendan McGuigan, DAI’s Adult Dyslexia Coordinator (AT Specialist) and Caoimhe O’Malley, DAI’s Senior Adult Dyslexia Coordinator.
Details: The event will begin with a short overview of Dyslexia (it’s challenges and strengths) followed by information on technologies that can help including Assistive Technology for Organisation, Note-taking, Assignment Writing, Studying and Memory.
This event is part of the Dublin Learning City Festival 2021. The aim of the Dublin Learning City initiative is to ensure that education and learning is accessible and free for all inhabitants, regardless of age, in traditional and non-traditional settings.
